Product Description
Resident Evil Revelations 2 for PlayStation 4 returns to the series‘ survival horror roots while introducing fresh gameplay dynamics. Fan-favorite Claire Redfield stars alongside Moira Burton, daughter of Resident Evil legend Barry Burton, as they fight to escape a sinister island detention facility. A parallel campaign follows Barry himself, joined by a mysterious young girl with unique abilities, as he searches for his missing daughter. Originally released as a bold weekly episodic experiment, this complete edition delivers four interconnected story chapters, two extra episodes, and the legendary Raid Mode—all in one package. Pure survival horror, refined and repackaged.
Good to know
Two Interwoven Campaigns – Play as Claire & Moira, then Barry & Natalia; each pair has distinct abilities that shape combat and exploration
Assistive Co-Op Gameplay – Full campaign playable in offline split-screen co-op; second player supports rather than carries—Moira stuns with flashlight, Natalia senses enemies and throws bricks
Raid Mode Returns – Acclaimed arcade-style mode with dozens of missions, character leveling, weapon upgrades, and fan-favorite characters including HUNK and Wesker
Deluxe Edition Content – Includes all four main episodes, two extra episodes, four bonus costumes, Throwback Map Pack, and additional storage slots
New Enemy Types – Face The Afflicted and The Revenant
Classic Survival Horror – Limited ammo, strategic resource management, dark atmospheric environments
Episodic Structure – Four tightly paced chapters; unlock Countdown and Invisible modes
Offline Play – Full single-player and local co-op
PS4 Version – Supports DUALSHOCK 4 vibration and Remote Play
Why we love it
Revelations 2 is the underdog of the series—rough around the edges, unafraid to experiment, and quietly brilliant. The assistive co-op forces genuine teamwork, not parallel shooting galleries. Claire and Barry sharing narrative space across two timelines pays off beautifully; their eventual convergence carries decades of series history. Raid Mode remains one of the most addictive post-game loops Capcom ever built. It is scrappy, uneven, and completely earnest—a B-movie monster stitched together with heart.
